⭐ Weight Management & GLP-1 Access

Medicare Part D Bridge Program – Effective July 1, 2026:
Dedicated support for seniors with a $50 copay cap for eligible patients, initiated by the clinic for obesity and cardiac risk.

Program Summary

Our program combines the most effective metabolic medications (GLP-1 and Dual GLP-1/GIP Agonists)
with rigorous clinical oversight. We navigate the complex 2026 insurance landscape to ensure
patients receive sustainable care.

Important: Commercial Insurance Policy

We understand how frustrating it is to navigate the “fine print” of private insurance.
While many patients seek these medications for weight loss alone, the clinic will not
initiate the preauthorization (PA) process for commercial insurance plans solely for
weight management.

For commercial (non-Medicare) patients, we provide PA support only when the following
criteria are met:

  • Diagnosis of Moderate to Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA):
Clinical data shows a high correlation between metabolic health and OSA.
  • In-House Evaluation:
Patients must first undergo a clinical evaluation at our facility to confirm the severity
of their OSA before any insurance paperwork is submitted.

Pathway Breakdown (Starting July 1, 2026)

Coverage Type Program Details Preauthorization (PA) Status
Medicare Part D Bridge Dedicated support for seniors; $50 copay cap for eligible patients. Initiated by Clinic (for obesity/cardiac risk).
Commercial (Private) Employer-sponsored/Private plans (e.g., Aetna, BCBS, UHC). Only for Moderate/Severe OSA (following clinic evaluation).
Self-Pay / Value Tier For patients who do not meet clinical PA criteria or have plan exclusions. No PA Required (direct clinic pricing).

Why the Focus on OSA for Private Plans?

Recent shifts in commercial insurance formularies for 2026 have made “obesity-only”
approvals nearly impossible to secure. However, Obstructive Sleep Apnea remains a primary
medical indication that insurers recognize for GLP-1 therapy, as weight reduction is a
frontline treatment for opening restricted airways.

Our Commitment

We are here to support your health journey with honesty. If you do not have a diagnosis
of OSA, we will not spend your time (or ours) on a PA that is likely to be rejected.
Instead, we will immediately pivot to discussing our Value-Based Self-Pay options to ensure
you can still access these life-changing medications without the insurance headache.
